While our global human family is facing difficult challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic, it is now clearer than ever that relationship is the core of humanity. With this in mind, we are planning and hoping for a normal ECIS 2021 Doctoral Consortium in Atlas Mountain of Morocco from Thursday afternoon, 10 June 2021, to midday Sunday, 13 June 2021. We don't know what the pandemic situation will be like in June 2021, so we are also making contingency plans for a virtual consortium format.
Our commitment is to deliver an ECIS Doctoral Consortium with a collegial and affirmative environment to enable doctoral students currently working on dissertations in the area of Information Systems to share their work, receive constructive feedback, and build lifelong friendships.
The Doctoral Consortium Committee invites nominations to the consortium. Eligible candidates must be currently enrolled in a University within AIS Area 2 (Europe, Africa, and the Middle East). Each University can nominate only one candidate and must guarantee proper funding for the student to attend the doctoral consortium as well as the main conference. While room and board at the consortium are provided courtesy of ECIS 2021 and the conference sponsors, admitted PhD students must register for ECIS 2021 at the reduced student rate.
